You’ll meet her in the morning, on her way to school in Strange City, always chewing a bubblegum bubble, dressed in effortlessly stylish clothes, lost in her thoughts, yet kind to everyone she meets. She greets softly, helps anyone in need, and easily shares herself—if she has any to give… Teachers say she has learning difficulties because she often drifts into her own thoughts. She struggles to follow the rules of mathematics and more. Her handwriting is messy! But who would imagine that she finds no reason to solve problems on paper? She can solve everything in practice, in her own way! Writing tires her because she feels trapped in the square classroom. She is drawn to the unexplained, the different, musical energy, and the embrace of nature. “I wish we could have lessons outside!” she once said, fed up, during class. And of course, everyone burst out laughing, even the teacher. “Dreamy Bubble, how will you make it through another year?” Tru’s aunt said with a smile.
But she doesn’t care what others think—or at least, not always. She knows her mind is different and will rarely match that of her peers. Perhaps with her best friend, Joker, who understands her because he sees with the same eyes. One day she confided that he had been a true fighter for authenticity, but after the Star Wars, he stopped fighting. The people of the cities in the Blue Galaxy weren’t ready. But Bamble believes him.
